Storage Tracker Pro is designed with privacy in mind. Your bin data, items, and photos are stored locally on your device by default — we don't collect or transmit them unless you enable cloud backup as part of a Pro subscription.
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Information We Collect
Free tier (no account required)
- All bin data, items, and photos are stored entirely on your device
- No account, email, or personal information is required
- Nothing is transmitted to our servers
Pro subscription
- Payment is processed by Stripe — we do not store your credit card details
- A Stripe customer record is created, which includes your email address
- If cloud backup is enabled, your bin data is encrypted and stored on our servers
Camera & photos
- The app requests camera access to photograph bin contents
- Photos are stored on your device (free) or in your encrypted cloud backup (Pro)
- When using the AI photo naming feature, images are sent to a third-party AI API solely to generate a suggested name and are not retained
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the app's features
- To process Pro subscription payments via Stripe
- To sync and back up your data across devices (Pro only)
- To respond to support requests when you contact us
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
The following third-party services are used by the app or this website:

- Google Analytics (GA4) — website traffic analytics (this website only, not in-app). Google Privacy Policy
- Ahrefs Web Analytics — website analytics (this website only).
- AI photo naming API — images sent for naming are processed transiently and not stored by the provider.
Data Retention & Deletion
Free tier data exists only on your device. Deleting the app removes all data permanently.
For Pro subscribers, you may request deletion of your account and cloud data at any time by emailing us at the address below. We will complete deletion within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Storage Tracker Pro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
